What a truly wonderful event the conference was! We will all be talking about it’s success for many years to come. This is just a quick note per John’s request below to inquire if we might get a few more copies of the booklets to send on to Susan and David Eisenhower (President Eisenhower’s grandchildren, both current Trustees of EF.) |

Dear Eran, Chandra, Dayananda, Sara and all on the EF Sri Lanka conference team, On behalf of EF Philadelphia, we very gratefully acknowledge the excellent planning and execution of the 2012 South Asia Regional Conference in Colombo, September 27-29. We were happily overwhelmed with the interesting program, strong presentations, state of the art technology, and outstanding media coverage throughout the conference. The very warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout our time in Sri Lanka was one of genuine friendship and fellowship. The conference, along with the debut of the children’s book on President Eisenhower’s messages of leadership and celebration of EF Day not only exceeded our expectations, but set very high standards for others to follow. You exemplify what it means to be Eisenhower Fellows and very aptly demonstrated the exponential power of EF collaboration. Many, many thanks for all. |

I arrived back safely in Philadelphia last evening and continue to greet a wonderful group of 2012 South Asia Fellows very highly energized for the program after the terrific event you organized last week. We are very happy to do as you suggest in sending out a message to all EF colleagues throughout the world about the children’s book and e-book publication. Thanks again for all you and the Sri Lankan team did to make this publication not only possible, but delivered with the very highest standards and the possibility to be replicated around the world. |

I wish to express my sincere gratitude for providing me (and Finlays) this unique opportunity to attend the EF international conference. Personally, it was an enriching and thought provoking experience. I wish to congratulate you and the EF network on the excellent selection of speakers and the manner in which the sessions were structured. I also found your comments at the female leaders session quite interesting and I see the debate/ opinion continuing in the New York Times article by Nicholas D. Kristof “Woman Hurting Women”. Thank you once again, and “may you be blessed with long life”. |

We believe that the “Leaders All in Our World” children’s book project is an outstanding concept and excellent finished product. The Sri Lanka approach to this project demonstrates an EF commitment to investing in future leaders and collaboration across borders. We congratulate you and all involved in this initiative and most definitely will highlight and broadcast this project throughout the EF network as a model for all to consider in the upcoming EF Day messages to be delivered from Philadelphia EF headquarters. With grateful appreciation to all, |

Dear Diane, Thank you very much for your active participation at the Conference & pre-meetings in Colombo with rest of EF team from Philadelphia and our regional Fellows from India, Pakistan & Bangladesh. I think there was interest to publish this book in local languages such as Urdu, Hindi & even Hungarian. Since the Publishing rights are now offered to “EF World” you may add this in your message to Fellows in all Countries. I hope to send individual messages to participants later as a follow up. As you know, the idea of “Children Book” and implementation of this project was from Chandra & I wish to extend this recognition from EFASL. |
