Conference Plan:
Conference delegates and Eisenhower Fellowships (EF) officials will arrive in Sri Lanka from September 24th to 27th, 2012. The delegates who wish to join pre-Conference Tours may even arrive early and join the Tours. SARP 2012 Fellows from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh will arrive and register at the Conference hotel on 26th September 2012.
Thursday September 27, 2012 morning - meeting of recent Alumni Fellows at the Dukes Court of Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel with the 2012 South Asia 23 Fellows from Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. Ideally we would have alumni Fellows from all the countries share with the 2012 Fellows their experiences and insights. Recent Fellows will participate in this session. It will also add a new dimension on Leadership introduced by Deepal Sooriyarachchi (He presents this module internationally associated with leading US Management Guru’s) built on ‘Mindfulness based Leadership Development’. The topic of the presentation is “Begin your leadership journey within”
Orientation Session for SARP 2012 twenty three (23) Fellows from India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh with EF officials will be held on Thursday - September 27th 2012 from 2 to 5 pm at the Hotel.
One full day meeting of EF Alumni Advisory Council (AAC) members, will be held on Sept. 27th. at Queens Court of Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel in Colombo. Joint Lunch meeting of SARP 2012 Fellows with AAC members will be arranged in the Hotel (Venue to be confirmed).
Formal inauguration of SARC 2012 followed by cultural performances and gala dinner will be held on Thursday September 27, 2012 evening from 7 pm onwards Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel, Kings Court. https://www.cinnamonhotels.com/LakesideKingsCourt.htm
Commencement of the Conference proper will be on Friday September 28th 2012 morning and will continue till 2 pm. EISENHOWER DAY commemoration will be combined with the Conference Program.
Friday September 28th 2012 afternoon will be free time for the Conference participants. Arrangements can be made at the option of the Conference participants for a Group Tour to watch ICC Twenty20 Cricket Tournament, at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Other options are Golf Tournament & City Tours.
Conference will continue on Saturday full day September 29th 2012 (Total time of the Conference will thus be One & Half days). The closing session in the evening will be followed by cocktail.
Sunday September 30, 2012 morning – Post-Conference optional tours and sightseeing. Post-Conference Tours will continue for 7-10 days after the Conference.
