Stephanie's visit to Colombo

Ms. Stephanie Veit (EF Executive Director- Advancement and External Relations) visited Sri Lanka in June this year. The visit kicked off with meetings at the Sri Lankan parliament, where she had discussions with Hon. Harsha de Silva (Deputy Minister of Policy Planning and Economic Development, EF MNP 2011) as well as Hon. Eran Wickramaratne (Deputy Minister of Highways, Education and Investment Promotion, EF SRP 2004). Stephanie also spent time at the US Embassy, where she met Senior Officers to discuss how to expand the EF program in the region. She was hosted by Nathan Sivagananathan (EF MNP 2015) for an evening of fellowship with the Eisenhower Alumni network in Sri Lanka, which was also attended by Mr. Zeeshan Usmani (EF 2012) and his team from Predictifyme. Stephanie’s visit concluded with a visit to the historical town of Galle, where she spent the day enjoying some sun, sand and cultural heritage before returning to the United States. It was a pleasure to have Stephanie in Sri Lanka and we look forward to seeing her here again soon.
